Assuming that you have submitted all the information required, including your profile photo, company logo (if applicable), and any media asset you want to include in the meCard, it should take us 7 working days to deliver your meCard.

You will be charged an annual hosting fee to use the meCard for the next 12 months (refer to the "Fees" table below). A renewal notification email will be sent to you 2 weeks before the complimentary period ends. If payment is not received by the due date on the invoice, we assume that you don't need the meCard anymore. The meCard will be deactivated. An administrative fee of $25 is chargeable for re-activation.

Yes, you can change the meCard content when the need arises. The meCard will be instantly updated with the latest information, including the copy on your customers' smartphones if they added it to the Home Screen.

Note: For change of contact details, a new vCard will be created in the meCard. Notify everyone who has saved your old vCard on their phones to open the meCard and save the new vCard.

Service Charge
We charge a fee to modify the meCard content. The amount depends on the time and effort required to make the change. We will review your Change Request (CR) and quote you accordingly. Work will commence after we received your payment as a confirmation to proceed.

For update of contact details, an admin fee will be charged (see the "Fees" panel below for details).

Can you change the meCard content yourself?
No. It can only be done by our programmers to ensure the integrity of the app and consistency of content presentation.

Raise Change Request

Send us your request. We will advise you whether it can be done, and how much it would cost. It's important not to turn the meCard into a website or a bloat-app.

The meCards are hosted in a secured datacenter in Singapore.

Each meCard is built to client's requirements and tested before they are released.

Note:
We don't use tools like WordPress for meCard for 2 reasons: (1) they are more prone to hacking attempts due to their popularity; and, (2) they include a lot of irrelevant codes which consume bandwidth and slow down the app's performance. WordPress also requires frequent security patchings and plugin updates to prevent hacking. These can sometimes break things too. We don't want the risk. Hence at meCard, we prefer to take the safer approach by coding manually.

No, because meCard uses proprietary server-side scripts to work. But if you still want to host the meCard on your own server, we can build a hard-coded version for you. However, certain meCard features which are dependent on our server-side script might not be available.

meCard is for business use. Like a name card, corporate video, and company website, it is meant to be accessible worldwide to give your business visibility, and for you to be contactable. If privacy is a concern, then meCard is not suitable for you.

We will send you a digital invoice once we received your order. A 50% non-refundable downpayment is required to commence work. The balance 50% shall be paid to release the meCard upon its completion.
